Our motto can also be achieved through your contributions to our cause. Paul's final wish was to build a community playground in Mt Orab, Ohio. If you would like to contribute to the playground fund, that can be done electronically through PayPal or Venmo. Checks are also accepted.
Update as of 6/28/23: The foundation board has formed a playground advisory committee to start the process of building the playground of Paul’s final wish. The committee met on June 28 and is working on getting land surveys, site prep details, and legalities figured out. More to come.
Update as of 12/5/23: The committee offically announces that the Paul Hall Memorial Playground's site will neighbor the Mt. Orab office on Agency Lane. The site is being designed by McCarty Associates, LLC. The surveying of the site is complete, and the final grading is in its last stages. The exact layout of the playground will be finalized once the grading plan is finished, and the goal is to share Phase One of development in February 2024.
Update as 05/01/2025: The committee should be receiving the funds from Paul's estate by end of year. This has taken longer than anyone expected. Once we have more details on when this will happen, we will be moving forward with additional planning.
Update as 08/20/2025:We are so excited to officially announce the future location for the playground. After hitting many roadblocks and trying to get through a lot of red tape on the original location choice, the board made the decision to head to Paul's advice that if it didn't make sense, don't proceed. So they went on the hunt for a really great location that could also fulfill Paul's wishes. For several years prior to Paul's passing, he'd been wanting to do something with his church for the youth. This seemed like a perfect opportunity to merge both his dream of a playground and his desire to support the youth of his church, all at once. After discussing with the leadership of True Life Christian Church and working through what this could look like, we are so excited to announce that we will be breaking ground on True Life Christian Church's property to build the Paul Hall Memorial Playground. Our expected completion date is summer of 2026!
