Growing up, we always raised a garden and I really enjoyed visiting my Uncle Tim's farm in the summer. He raised chickens and cattle and I loved being able to collect the eggs each morning. There were some days it seemed we picked beans from daylight until dark! He relied on that garden and those cattle to feed his family through the winter. In my home, we just went to the store when we needed something. I didn’t fully realize until I grew up that many people relied on those same means, as my uncle did, to sustain their families throughout the winter. In our family we now purchase all our beef, pork and eggs from local farmers to help them support their families. We also like to know where our food is coming from. I am thankful that I have a role at Paul Hall & Associates that allow me to work with farmers and their families on a daily basis.

Three years after joining the National FFA Organization, I was elected as the Ohio FFA Vice President, and shortly thereafter selected as the Ohio Fairs' Queen. Through those roles, I traveled the state teaching and advocating for agriculture, visiting all 88 counties at least once. I enrolled at The Ohio State University to study animal science with an emphasis in dairy. I’ve always enjoyed agricultural-based student organizations and OSU was no exception. I joined the Ohio State Diary Judging Team and knew I’d strive to stay in the agriculture industry after graduation. Working with Paul Hall & Associates, I’m able to help protect today’s producers in a state and industry I love.

I was raised in Adams County, more specifically Winchester. I have 3 brothers and multiple cousins, so I always had someone to play with as a kid. I graduated from North Adams High School in 2017. While in high school I received an associates degree in science from Southern State Community College. After high school I attended The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute (ATI) and received an associates degree in animal science specializing in swine production and management. I was an active member in 4-H for 11 years.Winches

Even though I was raised on a small beef farm, I never really understood what agriculture meant to me until I enrolled in FFA as a high school freshman. Four years later, having served as an Ohio FFA State Officer, I realized just how much my passion had grown for the industry. After majoring in agricultural communications at Ohio State University, I worked as an Organizational Director for Ohio Farm Bureau before returning home to work with my father. I’m eager to provide insurance expertise for the entire agricultural community with an agency fully dedicated to protecting Ohio agriculture.

I am the first of three daughters to Paul and Jill Hall. I was raised being very involved in church, community events and the 4-H and FFA programs. I graduated with honors from The University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Economics and a Bachelor of Administration in Marketing. I married Sam Hennig in July of 2009. In 2010, upon being given the opportunity to build and grow an insurance agency in Harrison, we relocated from Brown County to Harrison. While working to grow the agency in Harrison, I am also very involved in the Bright Christian Church where Sam is the children’s minister. In addition to work and church I am involved with the Hamilton County and Dearborn County 4-H programs and try to give back to these wonderful programs for helping shape me. In March of 2017, we welcome our daughter Lacey and in March 2020 we completed our family with the birth of our son Levi.

Having grown up on a grain farm in southwestern Ohio, I’ve always had a deep understanding of the farming community. My desire to support agriculture and farm families led me to pursue a Bachelor’s of Science degree at Wilmington College. After graduating, I joined Paul Hall & Associates and have become the agency specialist in swine, poultry and grain operations. Today, I still get to spend time each spring and fall helping out with our family farm while also volunteering with local 4-H clubs throughout the year. I appreciate the life lessons agriculture has afforded me and helping to protect farm families enjoying the same lifestyle I value.

Growing up on my family’s dairy and tobacco farm, agriculture has always been a part of my lifestyle. It wasn’t until I began studying at Wilmington College that I understood the role it had in shaping me as an individual. I majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Agriculture, but wasn’t sure how I’d be able to apply my agriculture education professionally. Today, my background is a solid foundation for my role at Paul Hall & Associates where I work in an industry that taught me work ethic, appreciation for our resources, and the value of time spent working with family to make a living.

As a sophomore at the University of Kentucky I was elected President of Kentucky 4-H. After serving as an ambassador for agriculture, I knew that I wanted to make a difference for farm families. Through serving as an Organizational Director for Ohio Farm Bureau for nearly 10 years, I saw a need in rural areas for someone with insurance expertise and a passion to serve Ohio’s agriculture families. Now, after 25 years, I am most proud of having an agency with a staff that is truly dedicated to and believes in the future of agriculture.
